I think that spring has finally arrived in most parts of the country and the heat is on here in Florida! I am guessing that for many of you, the heat of $600 is burning a hole in your pocket thanks to the benvolence or stupidity (take your pick, but free money is free money) of our federal government.
A few guidelines on spending this money:
1. You are not supposed to save it.
2. You are not supposed to use it to buy groceries or gas.
Neither of these choices will help stimulate the economy.
3. It isn't enough to buy a big ticket item, something you might really need.
4. It also won't help the economy to buy goods made in China.

May 8. My first week of full retirement was full of lots of my favorite things -- family, travel, swim, golf, yoga, and making jewelry.
